Design for a Better Philippines

Thank you so much for hosting these community events! I want to be a UX designer and finding UXPH has helped a lot to find resources and people I can look up to.

Great event! The multitude of topics and ginormous insights from this conference just filled my grid notebook — I guess i need to buy a new one. Kudos to the team! The energy, passion, insights, and empowerment is worth a million. More power to the UXPH community!

I would just like to send love to the whole UXPH Team for this AMAZING conference! I am a non-designer — I just thought of snooping around to know the UXverse is like but I ended up staying for the whole event. The welcoming vibe of this group is just <3! My background is on sales and account management, but because of this event, I realized that having a UX-centered mindset is a must for anyone in a similar role. This is definitely a start of something new!

The UXPH event was a talk I never knew I needed, after weeks on working to finish my 1st project, I never knew the talk would inspire me and give me a heads up on the next steps that I should take once I feel like I'm ready to apply for an internship or a job if I'm lucky enough. Truly, an inspiring event.

One important thing that I learned from this year's UXPH event, is that in order for a UX Designer to be effective, empathy should be a driving factor to your decision-making process, and having empathy means breaking your own mental model, so you should be much more open to every social and cultural possibilities of uniqueness, and be an effective advocate of change.

Just wanted to send you a quick note to thank the UXPH for having me at your conference. It was an honour to speak at your event, and hope to see you again for next years! The UXPH team ran an incredibly smooth event and the speaker experience was extremely streamlined and easy. This is one of the most well run events I have ever attended/spoken at. Huge thanks!
